The Senate who had decided to take part in two important voting in a very short period has put Donald Trump in a difficult situation. The first one was to vote for the U.S. not to enter into Saudi-led war that was happening in Yemen and the second voting is to stop military assistance to Saudi Arabia. This voting has been a serious drawback for the presidential powers related to the war. The voting that was held on Thursday had a majority of 56 to 41.
The Senate also created another resolution to hold the killer of Jamal Khashoggi and the resolution blames Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. This voting is really an embarrassing moment for Donald Trump as he did not condemn the death of Khashoggi. The house can only act during the beginning of next year and this voting is an indication that Democrats will have a tough situation when the Democrats enter the House.
