Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon are expected to hold talks as the President of Tajikistan reached Moscow for a 2 day visit. According to report the Russian president will be discussing about bilateral relations as well as further development related to economic, trade, etc. Both presidents will be sharing their opinions related to regional issues as per the report.
Lyakin-Frolov, the Russian Ambassador also confirmed this meeting and said the main discussion will be about bilateral relations. Russia has one of its military base in Tajikistan for security reasons in the region and many threats have been reported from the border related to terrorism, illegal migration and more.
