Michael Flynn has pleased guilty for lying to the F.B.I. talking with the Russian ambassador. Allegedly Mr Fynn’s discussions with Sergey I. Kislyak were part of a scheme to establish a strong presence of foreign policy before actually being in power.
Furthermore, efforts were made to undermine the at the time existing policy, namely former president’s Barack Obama policy, resulting in receiving a warning from a senior Obama administration official to cease interfering with foreign affairs.
Mr’s Fynn’s decision to plea guilty marks an important step in understanding exactly how the president’s associates acted at the time, and what contribution did this bring to Donald Trump’s unexpected victory in the White House.
