South African leader outburst ‘Kill Whites’ amid land grab issues

Black First Land First (BLF) leader Andile Mngxitama threatened Thursday at a rally in Potchefstroom to kill white people amid dispute over violent taxi industry in South Africa.

Mngxitama had been calling for seizer of land owned by white farmers saying, “All of it belongs to us. We are a people crying for our stolen land. Now we have decided to get it back by any means necessary.”

South Africa has an history of racially motivated violence and apartheid ended in the country just in 1994. Amid such past the comments of BLF leader have sparked outage.

In the rally, about 75 miles southwest of largest city Johannesburg, he said any killing of a black taxi driver in reivalry will result with murders of white people, in higher number and to include children too.

Mngxitama said, “For every one black person, we will kill five white people.”

Lately High Court rejected legal battle of the white farmers to block farmland to be given to black South Africans. An amendment earlier to section 25 of the Constitution has made it mandatory for white farmers to handover their owned lands to black farmers.

Meanwhile, spokesperson of ruling African National Congress (ANC) party said the rant of BLF leader shows extent of ignorance to the country’s past.

Mngxitama defended saying his comments were in context to billionaire Johann Rupert.
