AMLO Officially Becomes President Of Mexico

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador also known as AMLO has been selected and sworn as the new president of Mexico. He was chosen to compete at the presidential election for third time and won it with a huge margin by overtaking Ricardo Anaya. The election that was conducted last July witnessed a good support for AMLO as he had vowed to stop corruption, control drug based issues and even to ease out economic variation.

AMLO took in charge of the office on first of this month and before taking action as the president he had stopped the referendum related to Mexico’s New International Airport. He has also been one of the most popular politicians in the country with his ability to fulfill also the promises made during the tenure as head of the government. Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is the first person to win the election with more than fifty percent majority since 1988 presidential election.
