Hillary Clinton’s youngest brother Tony Rodham died Friday night with unknown cause. He is survived by wife Megan Madden and three children Zachary, Simon and Fiona.
The 2016 Democratic presidential candidate tweeted, “We lost my brother Tony last night. It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today… When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter.”
Tony was born in 1954 and Hillary describes him as generous and kind in her tweet. He did not played major public role in Hillary’s 2016 run for presidency. He was previosly married to former Sen. Barbara Boxer’s daughter, Nicole Boxer.
Tony was a consultant and earlier had worked as an insurance salesman, a private detective and a prison guard.
In 1999 Tony revealed had benefited as well as suffered from the rise to power of sister and President Bill Clinton.
His words then were, “It can go both ways… There’s some wonderful things that have happened to me because of my relationship with Hillary and Bill, and there’s been some really terrible things that have happened to me.”
