The presidential politics have become uncertain and lately President Donald Trump warned to be closing down southern border with Mexico permanently, if needed.
He said Mexico should move the flag waving Migrants following some of the migrants tried to breach border fence and U.S. agents responded with several rounds of tear gas shots at them, leaving children screaming and coughing.
The U.S. border at the San Ysidro port of entry between Tijuana and San Diego was closed temporarily on Sunday to ensure safety.
According to the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen the border was closed to ensure public safety as migrants in huge numbers tried to enter the country illegally.
The San Ysidro port of entry is one of the busiest border crossings and the presidential politics seems to be taking a tough move. If necessary, lethal force could be used to shut the southern border.
Trump meanwhile called Mexico government to intervene into the matter and help America in barring such Migrants to enter the country.
The president asked Mexico to intervene and do it by plane, bus or anyway to stop the migrants.
Authorities said more than eight thousand migrants are currently trying to enter Central America from Mexico.
