BREAKING: Shooting at Colorado school; 2 suspects arrested, 1 dead, 8 injured

Just before 2 p.m. Tuesday shooting began in a Colorado school in suburban Denver near Columbine killing a 18-year-old student and injuring 8. Police has arrested two suspects.

According to Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock the suspects made their way inside the school and started shooting inside two separate classrooms.

The school authority notified police and officers responded immediately, struggled to take the suspects.

Both the suspects are students. One is an adult male and the other a juvenile. A hand gun was used in the attack.

The adult male is identified as Devon Erickson and sheriff’s office said photos of the suspects will not be released to maintain investigation integrity.

The sheriff’s office said, “We still have interviews to conduct and we want to make sure we have the most accurate information.”

The school authority notified police and officers responded immediately, struggled to take the suspects.

One of the parents said she received a phone call from her daughter saying there’s a gun shot at the STEM school.

Another parent, father of Brendan Bialy, said his son tried to stop the gunmen along with his two friends. They are senior at the school and one of them was shot on chest.
