Gunman Opens Fire, shoots 7 people in Baltimore, 1 Killed

At least one person has been killed and six others injured when an unidentified gunman started shooting people indiscriminately at Maryland on Sunday evening. According to police spokeswoman Chakia Fennoy, the shooting took place on the 2500 block of Edmondson Avenure, Baltimore, Maryland.

The state media reported the incident after 5 PM and according to reports, one person succumbed to injuries and was found dead near Perkins Square Baptist Church. Six others who were also injured in the attack have been shifted to the hospital. The injured include men and women.

The reason for the shooting is not clear yet and there are no additional details of the shootings available now. The number of incidents involving indiscriminate shooting has been on the rise in the US and across the globe.

The rise in such incidents has been raising concerns about weapon law that exists in some American States. We will have to wait and see what steps are taken by the US Government to curb such incidents in the future.
