Alan Garcia, the former president of Peru committed suicide after police tried to arrest him at his residence related to bribery allegations. He was selected as Peru’s president two times from 1985-1990 and 2006-2011. Garcia faced accusation of bribery from a Brazilian construction company which was denied by him.
According to report, the former president had about 4 weapons at his residence which was received as gifts and he used on the weapon to shoot. He was rushed to Casimiro Ulloa hospital for an emergency surgery before succumbing to the injuries. Most of his party members expressed shock and grief for Alan Garcia’s death.
