Emmanuel Macron, the French President has decided to suspend his election campaign after the Notre Dame cathedral fire. This has been confirmed by Nathalie Loiseau on Twitter as she is in charge of the campaign. She also told that everyone in the country is going through sadness and all must stay united during this time.
There are also other political parties that have suspended their election campaign. Debout la France leader Nicolas Dupont-Aignan has suspended his election campaign saying all the people in their country will feel like a national mourning and this is the time to end division. Rassemblement National party president Marine Le Pen also decided to stop their campaign due to the incident.
