Cyril Ramaphosa was planning to visit Alexandra where the people have been protesting against crime and lacking development. Today he reached Alexandra and met the people with warm welcome at Alexandra Stadium. He also lashed out at Mayor Herman Mashaba who failed to visit the people of Alexandra and hear their cry.
The South African President told the people that he has visited the township not because of the election this year, but the grievance of Alexandra residents has brought him here. Ramaphosa had a discussion with his party members and ministers before reaching Alexandra even though the people didn’t want campaign from any political party.
