Green New Deal Will Be Put For Voting Says Mitch McConnell

The Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that Green New Deal will be put on voting by the senate. Even though this new bill is expected to be dropped by the Republican due to their majority in the upper chamber, some of the Democrats will make their political choices related to this. McConnell addressed the reporters about the bill outside his chamber. The Green New Deal was introduced by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Edward Markey last week.

The bill consists of investments related to clean energy that is expected to change the economy of the country. It was first revealed by Barack Obama, the former U.S. president, but was stopped by Trump administration. There will be more jobs for people if this bill gets passed and also support both environment as well as economy. The view about this bill is divided as some of them think it is really a green dream and other say it is impossible to achieve.
