President Trump believes the ongoing talks with congressional lawmakers are a waste of time and now it is time to circumvent those to fund the US-Mexico border wall.
Talking to a media on Thursday the president added, “I think Nancy Pelosi is hurting our country very badly by doing what she’s doing and, ultimately, I think I’ve set the table very nicely.”
However, Trump didn’t revealed clearly what would be his next step to get the fund for border wall. It is not yet understood whether a national emergency would be declared.
A new chapter is soon to begin Friday kicking off three weeks of negotiations between the Democrats and Republicans and a deal need to be reached by February 15 to avoid one more shutdown.
Meanwhile, Trump said he would not work with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and stressed the wall would be built by whatever way possible.
He said, “I’ve actually always gotten along with her, but now I don’t think I will any more… I’ll continue to build the wall, and we’ll get the wall finished.”
Earlier this week while responding to the question of CBN’s David Brody press secretary Sarah Sanders said God wanted Trump to become president.
Defending the proposal of Trump to build a wall at US-Mexico border Sanders said it is the fundamental duty of a president to protect the country’s people.
