Italy and France have been into a political fight in recent times and this is expected to become worse as the European elections approach. Even though the president of France has denied any verbal fight among the two nations, there were few comments made by deputy prime ministers from Italy. Matteo Salvini said the French president is terrible and the people must not support their party in the upcoming elections. On the other side Luigi Di Maio blamed France for migration crisis that is happening in Africa.
The relation between both the countries became worse when new government was formed last year and the main concerns were about migration. The French president criticized Italy for not supporting migrants and Italy also accused France for sending the people back to their country. Last week France made an agreement with Germany which is also one of the main concerns that can impact relations between Italy and the French government.
