Svend Robinson Is Back Into Politics

Svend Robinson, the Canadian politician who had retired from politics in 2004 has decided to make a comeback after 15 years. This news has got a lot of attention in the Canadian politics in recent times. He played a vital role as an MP and also known for his place in House of Commons. Robinson has returned to politics and he is expected to file a nomination in federal elections this year.

When Svend Robinson was at the peak of his career as politician he was considered to be very popular even with many controversies that surrounded him. In 2004, he was accused of stealing diamond ring during an auction which Robinson was found guilty after admitting to the theft. He served as MP for a long period at his New Democratic Party and also been elected seven times in the same constituency. Robinson was last seen during 2006 elections which he lost to Hedy Fry.
