Katsuyuki Kawai Wants Support From U.S.

Katsuyuki Kawai, the Japanese prime ministers aide expects to get support from U.S. to sign a peace contract with Russia. The main reason for this push is to deal with the risk faced from China as both the countries view it as a threat. Kawai said that he wants to make the U.S. know about that significance that would provide after the Japan-Russia agreement for peace. Shinzo Abe is expected to meet Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia at the end of this month related to the peace treaty.

He said that Japan is ready to join hands with U.S. in related to the peace agreement between both the countries. Kawai also expects to maintain the relation with the North Korea smooth once the nuclear related issues are addressed. There was a peace treaty that was expected to be signed by Tokyo & Moscow after Second World War, but it was stopped due to territorial issues.
